This 2" brass coin is for anyone who loves American history or just simply has pride in the origins and ideals of our great American nation. The Gadsden Flag was designed in 1775 by Christopher Gadsden. A coiled and ready to strike timber rattlesnake sits upon a patch of grass with 13 rattles, representing the 13 American colonies. This flag was designed to be a motto flag designed during the American Revolution.
The front of the coin, in raised 3D brass, is the timber rattlesnake that features the Gadsden Flag. “Don’t Tread On Me” surrounds the top of the coin and the year 1775 is at the bottom of the coin, the year the flag was designed.
The back side of the coin features the emblem of the United States of America, the Bald Eagle. The Eagle is holding on to American Flags. Around the back of the coin is a quote from Christopher Gadsden.
This coin has a special imprinting to achieve superior color and design on the snake and the back eagle.
This 2” raised one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality brass coin will stand out in your collection for years to come. This coin will be passed down from generation to generation with quality that AMN is extremely proud of.
