2021 was the 100 year centennial anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This 2" raised one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality brass commemorative coin will be passed down for generations.
The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a world famous monument dedicated to deceased U.S. service members whose remains have not been identified. It is located in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
The front side of the brass coin has a raised image of the soldier that stands guard 24 hours a day - 365 days a year in any weather. The inscription around the soldier on the coin is the same inscription that is on the back of the tomb, "Here rests in honored glory an American soldier known but to God."
The back side of the coin is a map of the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. The star represents where the soldier lies. The unknown soldier was buried in Arlington National Cemetery on November 11, 1921.
